At the end of a two-month art celebration of the vibrant reality of the city center, the Warmoes Biënnale Intimacy Salon invites the culturally curious to join in a one-day experience designed to reclaim and cultivate intimacy in our collective lives. 

Hosted by the iconic erotic theater Casa Rosso in the heart of Amsterdam’s Red Light District, the Warmoes Biënnale Intimacy Salon brings together a curated group of locals, thinkers and artists that take center stage to explore intimacy in the broadest sense of the word.

Taking place during daylight hours at an erotic theater that at night is dedicated to visual stimulation in many forms, the program is a curious and playful exploration: 

How can we shift our intention towards making more space for intimacy, in our own lives and in our practices? 

How can we design physical spaces that become conduits for connection, be it emotional, physical, intellectual or experiential?

What happens when venues designed for night bound erotic pleasure are transformed during the day into spaces for practicing intimacy?

All in all, the salon seeks to create a prototype for a third space dedicated to intimacy inviting the local and broader Amsterdam community to join in over a day filled with inspiration and human connection.

• The program will be conducted in a mix of Dutch and English, reflecting the reality of the city’s communities.

• A vegan lunch and refreshment is included in the ticket price.
