The Warmoes Biennial aims to strengthen the role of the city center as a social, cultural, and political heart. We do this by bringing together residents, experts, and visitors for two months. We want to preserve and share the knowledge we gain. That's why we're organizing the Salon on April 18th. During the Salon 'Intimacy Inn,' we will explore and discuss how we can make the neighborhood, the city, and perhaps even society more intimate.

In a fullday program at the iconic Casa Rosso we ask ourselves: How can we make more space for intimacy, in our own lives and in our practices? How can we design physical spaces that become catalysts for connection, be it emotional, physical, intellectual or experiential?

A curated line-up of diverse voices will discuss, unpack, and experiment with how intimacy can be cultivated and applied.

The contributors bridge the gap between the neighborhood’s daily reality and broader social structures, ranging from artists, local hairdressers to city planners and beyond. All in all, the salon seeks to create a prototype for a third space dedicated to intimacy. The program is designed for a broad, culturally curious audience, as well as professionals grappling with the complexities of human connection, including city planners, local shop owners, and care workers.
